Pie Corbett

Pie Corbett unlocks children’s creativity and writing skills through the art of storytelling. He is also a champion of the importance of teaching grammar in context.

Having worked as a teacher, Head Teacher, lecturer and OFSTED inspector, Pie is also a prolific author and a poet. He is the author of Oxford Reading Tree Stories for Writing.

Pie recognises that the ability to tell a story, together with a strong grasp of how language works, provides a springboard to becoming a good writer.
