Build reading fluency for reading success
Reading fluency is the ability to read accurately with pace and prosody. It is often seen as the bridge between phonics and comprehension. Being able to read fluently and build stamina is critical for children's success at school, in all subjects, as they progress and encounter texts that are both longer and more complex.
To help build reading fluency in your pupils, we’ve put together a collection of resources, suggested products and expert insights that can support your school.
Catch up on a free webinar with Andrea Quincey and Elaine Allen where they discuss:
Readerful is a library of inclusive, age-appropriate books designed to boost fluency, knowledge, vocabulary and motivation. All books are underpinned by Oxford Reading Levels to ensure children are reading books with the right level of support or challenge to build confidence and develop comprehension skills.
Our team are on hand to help you get the very best out of the reading resources you already have in your school and identify any gaps there might be in your current provision.
