Stay on track with flexible, anytime-anywhere PD (online course.)
This flexible, online course for Numicon Catch-up and Intervention is a modular course that you and your staff can access at a time and place to suit you. Split into five learning modules, this is the perfect programme to support you in identifying and addressing gaps or inconsistencies in your children’s learning, as well as correcting errors and misconceptions from time lost at school.

This course will take approximately 5 hours to complete, please note this will vary from person to person.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Understand the barriers to mathematics some children may face
- Learn how the Numicon approach supports the teaching of key mathematical ideas, including how they make abstract mathematical ideas real and ‘visible’, and why this works for Catch-up and Intervention
- Discover how Numicon Breaking Barriers and Big Ideas support the assessment and re-teaching of key mathematical ideas
- Know where and how to start with implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Confidently use the resources to lead a staff INSET on using Numicon for Catch-up and Intervention (whole school subscription only)
