Ruth Miskin Training (RMT) work closely with over 8000 schools to reach every child, regardless of background or need. As of September 2022, we work with 62 trusts across the country. The six trusts below have worked with us for over two years
"Ruth Miskin Training and its consultants have made a significant contribution to the overall effectiveness of education across the entire trust.
"Paradigm Trust schools have worked with RMT consultants since the trust was founded in 2013. The support the trust has received from RMT has been critical in helping to turn around the performance of two poorly performing inner London primary schools, followed by a further four schools in East London and Ipswich. All schools have now been graded Good or Outstanding by Ofsted. A seventh, special free school, will join the trust in September 2022."
"Our children love RWI lessons. We have a very positive response from parents too who stay and watch their children engaging in high-quality reading lessons. Children throughout the school enjoy reading and older children use phonics to read complex or unfamiliar words. As noted by Ofsted, our children read a wide range of quality books. I would encourage any school to adopt RWI – it has changed our school."

"The support from Ruth Miskin Training (RMT) is excellent and as a result the quality of teaching across the school is high. The learning strategies such as ‘my turn, your turn’ and ‘turn to your partner’ have a positive impact on our children’s behaviour; we have seen improvements in both their concentration and their resilience.

"The programme has helped me as an English teacher gain knowledge of phonics teaching and understand that effortless decoding is essential to access both GCSE English and the wider curriculum."
"Student Y, Year 7, arrived in England in Year 6 and received no individual reading or phonics support in primary school. The Fresh Start programme has helped him significantly with his pronunciation and his spoken English has improved hugely. He has moved up an English set.
Student Y’s reading age increased by 3 years and 1 month after 5 months of Fresh Start teaching."
