The Oxford International Curriculum for Early Years is designed to nurture young children’s curiosity and love of learning, while helping them develop the social skills, independence and resilience they will need for future academic, personal and career success.
Wellbeing and global skills are embedded throughout the curriculum. Students are encouraged to form their own ideas by learning from observations, enquiry and first-hand experiences to foster a ‘Joy of Learning.’ Equally, wellbeing is core to all Oxford International Curriculum for Early Years learning. The holistic approach to wellbeing recognises that lasting success depends on both academic performance, as well as emotional and mental wellbeing.
The curriculum offers a unique balance of subject-specific lessons and cross-curricular activities, which meet the needs of young learners from the age of 2. The curriculum is available to purchase all the way through and as such provides a perfect transition between stages to Primary and then on to Lower Secondary, but it is also available separately to suit the needs and age range of the school.
